Finally managed to finish the interior although i rushed the clear coat when i should not have and stuffed a few parts up.

Etch primered body sections
Because the weather was not great today i decided to do some of the small sections of the car that needed painting after being welded from the roll cage and also my fixing up some of the holes from the old bolt in cage.

Knuckle spherical bearings installed
Installed the spherical bearings into the rear knuckles today, had to clean all the powder coat out of the knuckle as some had got onto the surface but then was able to press them all in

Base coat started
Tonight after getting home from work I prep'd and started to lay down the base coat onto the interior, I had a bit of trouble with the pot where it was not letting air into it through the little breather hole and it affected the amount of paint coming out, it was due to me not cleaning the pot well enough and the tiny little hole that allows the air into the pot was blocked.
I focused the spray patten to

Suspension parts powder coated
Picked up the suspension pieces from the powder coater today, the finish is fantastic but not 100% on the colour. I wanted a silver but it has come out more grey then silver which is disappointing, I think it will look good once it is all back in but I will have to strip the subframe mounting bush locations to the chassis and also the diff as they coated them accidentally.
They covered all the bolt holes and other bush locations but

New Bushes and Traction Arms
I think i should have just left the nolathane sub frame cradle bushes in as to be honest there really wasn't anything wrong with them but to get the sub frame powder coated i had to remove them.
When i think of it this is a waste of time and money which considering i have so much to do i really shouldn't have done it but i am where i am and i had to buy some replacement bushing so i bought some SPL solid bushes for the sub frame, solid ones for the diff and whilst i was at it i replaced the knuckle bushings with SPL spherical bearings and also traction rod which i still had as standard but with the nolathane inserts.
Here is a link from 2004 when the car was used to design the Noltec bushings for the 200sx which Whiteline eventually bought out and aparently use some of there moulds now.

Car primered
Well after stuffing around for a bit with different things and not having much time to do anything lately i pulled my finger out and etch and primered the car today.
Here is the garage all taped off to stop a lot of the overspray from the primer going everywhere over everything in the garage.
I didn't get any
