Covered fiberglass inner gard with contact to protect from stone chips
A couple of photos of the covering of the inside of the gard with book contact film to protect it a little more from stone chips and rubber marks. Should have done this when i got everything fitted new but at least it will help protect the fiberglass after i have repaired it all. You have to get real close to even tell it is on there so pretty happy with how it turned out.
This one has not been trimed
Bent suspension shaft
Andrew was pulling the suspension apart to fit the springs in readiness for.the aero and found the front left suspension was bent. I am dropping it off to jono at heasmans tonight to fix up and hopefully won't be to expensive to fix
Wheels arrive
The wheels arrived today

Fixing Fiberglass due to stone chips - Part 1
Today i decided to fix some of the damage caused by stones into the fiberglass parts on the car specifically around the rear guards. First step was to sand back the fiberglass then cut out bit of chop mat ready to apply. I mixed up the resin and fiberglassed the panels back up, will take some more photos up close soon.

Wing Installed
The way Andrew has installed it I am very happy with. He has positioned the wing well and now it is on the car I think it will be both aesthetically pleasing and work well.
You can probably see it is a little......wider then the actual car. This might become a slight issue with things like peoples arms or heads but nice for extra downforce which is good.
Now to balance it out with the front and under car aero

Thermo fan switch
Andrew is making up a switch to run the standard Thermo fan that will allow the fan to run at a reduced temp and also turn them off at high speed when it is not needed. - Photos Below
Chassis wing mount kit cut in two...
We were not happy with how the kit went through the guards and needed some flexibility with ability to remove the wing for the street so the decision was made to cut the chassis mounts in two. You are looking at $300 that probably could have gone elsewhere.

New front grille for s14a
The front grille for the car went missing a little while ago when it was in for some work and i have been looking for a second hand one but found that a brand new one from the states was only a little more. It is a different style that i like the look of a lot more.

carbon dash panel
I played around today with a small carbon fibre off cut that i have from something else and copied the panel i have that is made from aluminum in the dash. The aluminum panel hasn't looked the best with a few scratches on it so hopefully this will look the goods.
Simply masked up the carbon panel and then cut around the edges, it is quiet hard to cut carbon fiber and i blunted a few blades doing it but eventually i cut through.
