Removed coil overs to replace springs

On Wednesday night I pulled out my coil overs because we are swapping the springs over (front to rear) and then replacing the front springs with

new stiffer ones. The reason for doing this is with the extra aero we are planning on adding to the car we found with James’s car it was affected quiet a bit by the added downforce through the corners.
I want to try and counter this to a degree but it is a calculated guess as the stiffer the spring rates the more it works the tyres and it also means the car is harder to drive as it moves around a lot more over the high speed bumps. The shocks have enough in the valving to cope with it but is right close to the edge of what would be ideal so if I wanted to go higher I would need to get them re-valved for the stiffer springs.
Jono from Heasmans has kindly loaned me a new set of front springs to test out but they are a little shorter then the current front springs by about 17mm, hopefully these will be ok from our estimates but to be able to test them out without buying a set yet is very handy.
Currently I have the fronts at 8.2kg/mm and the rear 5.1kg/mm. This will now change to have 8.2kg/mm on the rear and 11.2kg/mm on the front, this is a big change so will take a bit to get used to and hopefully won’t be to difficult to drive.

Some oil from the shock body means the seals might have some damage but if it is then not enough to rebuild yet. We will clean these up and keep a close eye on them for signs of problems.
